Message from UTAR President
It is with immense pride and joy that I extend my heartfelt
congratulations to the graduands of the 39 UTAR Convocation.

Your educational journey at UTAR has brought you to this day of
remarkable achievement as you graduate from the university.
Today, as you stand on the beginning of a new chapter, we are
proud to celebrate not only your academic accomplishments;
but also, your personal development and resilience that
you have shown throughout your time here.
UTAR's mission has always been to nurture talents
and foster innovation through the provision of
holistic education. With more than 660 local and
international partners, and annual international
exchange activities, we have strived to provide
you with diverse learning opportunities and global
experiences. These collaborations have enriched
your learning journey, equipping you with the skills
and knowledge to excel in an ever-evolving global
landscape.
Since our inaugural convocation in 2005, UTAR
has proudly graduated over 86,900 students.
Each of you adds to this legacy of excellence and contributes to the vibrant tapestry of our alumni
network. You are now ambassadors of UTAR, carrying forward our values of integrity, innovation, and
community service.
As you embark on your new adventures, I encourage you to remain curious, stay connected with your
peers, friends, lecturers and mentors, and continue to strive for excellence in all your endeavors.
This convocation is just the beginning of many such celebrations in your career and your personal
life. Your passion for life, your diligence at work, your creativity, and resilience will help to shape
your future. Embrace the journey ahead with optimism and courage, and never underestimate your
capabilities and the impact you can make at your workplace and in society.
Once again, congratulations to you and your family on your convocation. I wish you all the best in
